Amy Bombardieri and Renee MacDonald Join Foundation for Abilities First NY Board of Directors

Wappinger Falls, N.Y. (July 28, 2020) – Amy Bombardieri of Poughkeepsie and Renee MacDonald of Fishkill have joined the Board of Directors for the Foundation for Abilities First NY, the fundraising arm for Abilities First, Inc. Abilities First is a nonprofit organization serving the needs of over 1,400 children and adults with developmental disabilities through educational, vocational, residential and habilitation services in the Hudson Valley.Amy Bombardieri

Amy Bombardieri is a Project Engineer with Day & Stokosa Engineering in Wappingers Falls, where she specializes in commercial and residential land development design. A Dutchess Community College graduate, Bombardieri completed the Marist College Project Management Program. She has served with the Dutchess County Young Republicans and is the chair of the Town of Poughkeepsie GOP Committee, as well as a Trustee of the Poughkeepsie Library District.

Renee MacDonaldRenee MacDonald is a Psychotherapist in private practice. She received her B.A. from SUNY New Paltz and completed her Masters in Social Work at Adelphi University. MacDonald formerly served in the roles of therapist and clinical director with Hudson Valley Mental Health, and at Hudson Valley Healthcare System/Department of Veterans Affairs as Coordinator of Inpatient Psychiatry, Team Leader for Intensive Case Management, Interim Business Manager as well as Public Affairs Officer/Congressional Liaison. MacDonald has been an active community volunteer and supporter of Sparrow’s Nest, Toastmasters International, Literacy Connections, Forget U Cancer, Child Care Council of Dutchess, Inc. and Medical Reserve Corps of Dutchess County. She is also a proud member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Melzingah Chapter.
