Poughkeepsie, N.Y. (July 28, 2015) – Abilities First’s Annual Golf Classic was held July 27, 2015 at Trump National Golf Club – Hudson Valley in Hopewell Junction, N.Y. Over 130 golfers and 30 volunteers attended this fundraising event for people with developmental disabilities in the Mid-Hudson Valley and helped to raise approximately $40,000. The event’s major sponsors included Wendy’s, Rose & Kiernan and Marvin and Company, P.C. CPAs, DRA Imaging, First Student, MVP Health Care and iHeartRadio.

Participants and students of Abilities First were also in attendance for a special Lunch ‘N Putt event at the Golf Classic courtesy of Arlington Auto & Tire. Over 20 Abilities First students and participants had the opportunity to practice on the putting green as the golfers headed out for the tournament.
