August 2023 Brings Exciting Program News!

Dear Abilities First Family,

We hope this message finds you well. We are thrilled to announce a significant update that reflects our program’s growth, vision, and direction. As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence, we are excited to introduce the new name for one of our beloved programs.

Old Name: Community Habilitation

New Name: Community Connections

Our program has evolved and expanded, and this name change reflects our dedication to staying current and aligning with our goals. The new name captures the essence of what our program stands for, to foster inclusivity, promote collaboration, and enhance the overall sense of community belonging of our individuals.

Please note that this name change is purely cosmetic and does not affect the core functionality or accessibility of the program. Our website, collateral, and all relevant materials will be updated to reflect this change, and you can continue to expect the same level of quality and support you have come to rely on.

We would like to express our gratitude to each member of the team of Abilities First Community Services for their dedication and contributions, which have led us to this exciting juncture. We believe that the new name will resonate well with our community and stakeholders, helping us to reach new heights of success. We look forward to new recruitment opportunities at Community Connections, and we’re eager to invite dedicated individuals to join us in our pursuit of excellence.

If you have any questions about the name change, need further clarification or would like more information about Community Connections, please feel free to reach out to Gina Carminucci at 845.475.3217 or email ginacarminucci@abilitiesfirstny.org.
