The Grandview, Poughkeepsie

On April 24th, the Abilities First annual gala was held at the Grandview in Poughkeepsie and guests were delighted with the festivities of the night, which were highlighted through a “breaking news” theme. Complete with reporters, “live” news feeds, and newspaper-style programs, the crowd of over 200 truly had an exciting night.

Three very special awards were presented during the Gala program. Alexander Nivel received the Participant of the Year Award, Chartwells at Bard College received the Business of the Year Award, The Employees of KeyBank received the Volunteer of the Year award and Bill Rohde of Rohde, Soyka and Andrews received the Lynn and Nancy Wall Award.

Also at the event, the following Board Members were elected: John Morgan, President, Michael T. Flynn, 1st Vice President, Jeanine Agnolet, 2nd Vice President, Stacey Renner, Treasurer and Renee Bulla, Secretary.
