VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITIES! BE PART OF A TEAM OF CARING AND SUPPORTIVE VOLUNTEERS WHO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR NEIGHBORS WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES.
Since it’s creation, Abilities First has provided comprehensive services to include evaluation, therapy, education, recreation, vocational training, employment, housing, and the enjoyment of everyday life in the community for people with disabilities.
The number of people with disabilities receiving services has mushroomed to over 1,200, and there are several hundred more family members and friends who benefit from Abilities First’s services. Abilities First offers programs for our neighbors with disabilities from infants to senior citizens.
We typically have many volunteer opportunities available in several areas. Click here for a description of our different program areas. We also invite you to visit our Development Department which also has volunteer opportunities in the areas of fundraising, event planning, and publicity. We encourage you to send us a completed application package indicating your interest in volunteering.
